Guest comment: "Are You Experienced?" is one of the best Jimi Hendrix albums. You can't help but listen to every single track on it - they're all fantastic. Coolest songs: "Hey Joe", "Manic Depression", "Can You See Me" and "Are You Experienced?"

Guest comment: if you like 'are you experienced?' keep a look out for 'nine to the universe'. it is an incredible record. also the jimi hendrix with little richard is good as is the jimi with otis redding. both of those are live recordings from the whiskey a go go. i'm gonna try and remember the other titles i have, they're at my home in washington not with me now 'cause i know you don't have lots of the ones i have, and if you're a fan (and i can tell you are) you need to know about the other great jimi's records out there!

Guest comment: Re: Roger Pion comments on the version of Red House on Hendrix in the West. I absolutly agree that this is the very best version. I have been looking all over to find it on CD. I am aware that it is on the 4 cd box set but not aware of other cds. Find the vinal copy for this and Little Wing live.

Guest comment: Your so lucky to have this album (Jimi Hendrix). Really I'm just trying to track down any cd with 'let the god sing' and 'house of the rising sun' and, I think 'got that feeling' and some others. I had a four volume cd set called 'the jimi hendrix story', with these on but it was stollen! I think these tracks are particularly psychedelicly good, and are very unheard.

Guest comment: In regards to your Hendrix on Bellaphon... If yours is like the others I've seen it was pressed in '91. I've got a pressing from '72 on Shout records out of ATL. Supposedly the original tapes are from '66 in New York, shortly before Jimi left the States to form The Experience in England.
However, like two minutes ago, I read some review some guy wrote at amazon.com, that said that according to discography "experts" ... She's a Fox was recorded in '63 and none of the other tracks even have Jimi on them (refered to affectionatly as fakes). What-ever! The whole first side is nothing but THE trademark electricy and feedback. I wish you could see the cover for it. It's this tripped out cosmic colored pencil kind of thing; like you'd expect to see a unicorn or something.
Anyway, go to amazon, write a review, since the original one only gave it one star, and rock on.
