Experimental nuclear physics covers a broad range of topics, including low-energy experiments for nuclear structure and astrophysics applications, and medium-energy experiments to study the structure of the nucleon (protons and neutrons) and quark dynamics of bound states. The experimental nuclear physics group at Ohio University is involved in a broad range of programs in these areas at facilities around the world, seeking answers that are at the forefront of the quest to understand the structure of matter and the fundamental forces of nature.
